I have just watched been to my first weekend seminar with network 21 and watched Jim's 100 dreams talk when I got back. I remember watching this talk many years ago when I was just a child and always liking Jim after that. He has been a big inspiration to me in life in general and I was utterly saddened by the news of his passing a few years ago. My condolences and best wishes go out to Nancy and the family and friends of Jim.

Dear Nancy and Dornan family, Although I'm late in writing this I can only imagine this time since Jim's departure has seemed still so recent. In reading through some of his entries on his challenging journey, I was struck by the quote about being blessed with a long life for serving the Lord. And I immediately thought of how full and rich Jim's life has been - I feel even one day spent in the freedom and action he shared with the world must be worth a decade of the unconsidered drudgery so common in the world... and in that respect his example inspires me still to dig deeper and reach higher to achieve more in my own life. I just wanted to share my personal inspiration in him with you. My warmest condolences. Nick Hatch

Hi Nancy, I don't know if you remember me, but Jim was my best friend and classmate in the Aero & Astro school at Purdue. One of my fondest recollections was the way that he and I would meet up before going into classes and say "Are you ready to assume the role?" We both were uncharacteristic engineers. I also fondly recall you and his wild Falcon convertible with the rumbling V-8. I actually just found out about Jim from the Purdue Aerogram obituary and am so sad to hear of the devastating news. Judging from the comments and posts on this website, Jim had a fabulous life. I live near Valley Forge Park in Pennsylvania, but used to come to the Atlanta area frequently as a business I founded had its original venture capital provided by the Atlanta Technology Angels at Georgia Tech. How I wish I knew that you were in the area -- I would have loved to see him and you again. The last time we met in Washington DC you were living in California. While it has been a year since his passing, I extend my sympathy and best wishes to you. Jim Cassano

My name is Lorna Harron, and I base in USA...My life is back!!! After 2 years of Broken marriage, my husband left me with two kids . I felt like my life was about to end i almost committed suicide, i was emotionally down for a very long time. Thanks to a spell caster called Dr momodo, which i met online. On one faithful day, as I was browsing through the internet,I came across allot of testimonies about this particular spell caster. Some people testified that he brought their Ex lover back, some testified that he restores womb, cure cancer, and other sickness, some testified that he can cast a spell to stop divorce and so on. i also come across one particular testimony,it was about a woman called Sonia, she testified about how he brought back her Ex lover in less than 2 days, and at the end of her testimony she dropped Dr momodo's e-mail address. After reading all these,I decided to give it a try. I contacted him via email and explained my problem to him. In just 48hours, my husband came back to me. We solved our issues, and we are even happier than before Dr momodo, is really a gifted man and i will not stop publishing him because he is a wonderful man... Hello dear Nancy and the whole Dornan Family - I have just heard of the passing of Jim - I am a member of N21, even if not very active at this particular time of my life - but I wanted to express my condolences and offer prayer for your family in this hard times - I know, that Jim is now in heaven, where there is no more suffering, no more tears and no more pain - he is with his maker and I am sure he is having such a wonderful time....forever resting in the Peace that only Christ can bring.....yet having the most marvellous adventure hanging out with Jesus at the same time. I pray, that God would wrap his loving arms around you and that you mar know in your hearts, that he is never far from your heart and thoughts. Let God comfort you and know that he is right there with you - I am sure you are sad about the loss - but I pray that you are strengthened in the knowledge that he is now free to live on the other side and I am sure, that he wouldn't want you to be sad.....rejoice with the angels, that he has found his way home!!! There is a song by Michael W. Smith 'Welcome Home' which illustrates it quite nicely - what we call a loss, is a gain in heaven....and he now has the life more abundantly, that Christ came to bring. My heart goes out to you, and I lift you up to the throne of the most high God - may his peace surround you now and always. In his peace - Amen <3

In fact, I totally renewed my life and relationship with Christ because of these 4 amazing people and then met my wife as a result of that. All these years later we have 4 beautiful children whose very existence in many ways is traceable back to Jim & Nancy Dornan. I honour his work, his legacy and his incredible vision. We/Kristina and I have not reached that far in the business. We are still dreaming. I/we do have love, hope, joy and have found out in these years that it's all about the little things. Day by day. I belive it's up to me to start again... Well, we attended the seminare when David and Jules were here in Sweden and they also have love, hope, kindness and so much to give. So it's all about the family and your family is so wounderfull (Dornan and Network 21). We will miss Jim Dornan, but he is still the light that shine's for me. Dear Nanc and family, Ernie and I are totally at a loss for words to convey how we feel. Jim was a like a father to us . I recall vividly the one on one time we had together, very precious time and all the phenomenal learnings we have today as our unbelievable legacy from Jim. You and Jim impacted our lives so profoundly more than anything else in the world next to being a child of GOD. Thank you Nancy for the beautiful hand written note you gave us which we received at the Drive!! Ernie shares the same journey and each passing day we defeat this invader... we put our trust in the LORD who we know loves us so much. Our LORD, with wide open arms has welcomed Jim to the heavenly kingdom where there is no more pain and suffering. A place where GOD has reserved a magnificent room for Jim, the beauty of which we can't comprehend yet. We grieve Jim's loss.... but we celebrate a life lived that unquestionably will impact generations and generations more to come!! Love-Olive and Ernie

Dearest Nancy, I just wanted to say thank you for allowing those of us far away to share in the mourning and grieving for your beloved Jim. Being able to tap into the memorial service and the funeral live was INCREDIBLE! We really felt like we were there with you all. One of my leaders in Perth and myself were watching the funeral together, crying and texting back and forwards. It was 2am in Sydney and midnight in perth. I also wanted to say how proud of David and Jules speaking at the memorial, when I know how intense the pain they felt must have been...so brave. Also I had to mention Heather. Seeing her speak at the funeral. She is AMAZING. So transparent, so honest, so funny. I am the same age as her and Ashley Kate is the same age as my eldest son so I listen with baited breath to hear any updates of either of them. Please tell Heather we want her in Australia, speaking!!!! The world needs to hear her story. Thanks you for everything you and Jim have done. Thank you for mentoring my upline Peter and Debbie over the years. Thanks you for adding true principal driven leadership into a world so lacking. We are praying for everyday your pain to get a little smaller but your love and memories to get stronger. With ENORMOUS love and respect and sorrow and celebration....Kaz Buckley

I don't know why I am taking the time to write something that has probably already been said a thousand times over in here, but I just feel compelled to take the time. I wasn't part of Network TwentyOne, but my husband and I ran an Amway business in the mid 80s. Our leadership lacked integrity, we were young, and so we folded and went on with our wonderful life. The only two people we DID listen to in those years were Jim and Nancy, whose tapes we devoured over and over again. Ultimately, neither of us were cut out for business (we're a doctor and marriage therapist now), but many of the critical character traits we developed together in our young marriage were garnered directly from the repeated listening of those tapes. Because, or course, they were talking about so much more than developing an Amway business, yes? So thank you to two people we never actually met but who were SO instrumental in our character development from afar.

We joined Amway only to use healthy products but N21 came to us almost like a bonus and we appreciate it a lot for the difference it has made in our lives... We feel like growing each day with the great books and CD's they provide... And it was all Jim Dornan's idea in the beginning... We thank him a lot for that... And for his values, rare vision and leadership as well... God may rest him in peace...

How amazing to witness a voluntary group paying tribute to a man who consistently walked his talk. I am forever grateful for this association and will continue to celebrate Jim's life. My prayers for the Dornan family. Listening to David Dornan at the memorial live streaming, is such a wonderful example of the legacy Jim has left behind. RIP Jim and thank you. Strength to the Dornan famaily and everyone in the N21 family.

Dear Nancy, Heather, Dave, Eric, respective partners and the rest of the Dornan family. Jim undoubtedly is, and forever will be someone who has changed my life for the better in more ways than one. You and Jim have improved the way Adelina and I parent our children daily, by continuously reminding ourselves to "look at the world through your childrens eyes". We are better partners to each other because of the teachings you and Jim have brought to us through N21. Why I love N21 is that the culture of it is yours and Jim's heart. So, God has decided that he needed him up there more than he needed him down here with us. We can never understand why God does certain things, but we still trust in Him daily as he leads us to where He wants us. And whilst Jim's passing is saddening to millions of people around the world, and a devastating loss to you and your family, I feel that, having Jim with us in our cars on a daily basis, in our ipods/iphones/mp3 players, in our living rooms, playing his cd's in our bathrooms 🙂 and with the culture of N21, THE HEART OF YOU AND JIM, he's still here with us, also through all the amazing leaders right around the world. He may be gone physically, though he will live on forever and a day. He will continue his work here on earth, we just won't be able to see him. His work is being continued through the N21 family and through the many cd's. His energy is still around us and will be felt on occasion, as science and God presents this to us. When we feel this energy to fight for a goal, take the next step, pull our thumbs out of our mouths (talking to myself here), it's Jim's energy coming through our heart, it's N21's energy coming through our heart, it's YOUR energy coming through my heart. Adelina and I wish you strength through this tough time, you have the best people around the world to help you and your family through this. God bless you and your family. Rest in Peace Jim... you remain my all time mentor!

(The Second Epistle of Paul the Apostle to Timothy 4: 7-8) And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, `and be' their God: and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away. Nancy and family- Please know that you are in our prayers at this time. We learned a lot about life, ourselves, the world and business from Jim and N21. As Jim always said "It's not only about success, but significance". Reading Jim's Journey online is a testament to showing others how to accept with faith and grace God's will for each of us. "Eternal rest grant unto him, O lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him". Peace be with you all.

As we have been following Jim and Nancy's journey over the past 2 years, we have been on one of our own, thanks to Jim and Nancy and the N21 educational system. Without your words of wisdom, love for others and trust in The Lord, many people, like us, would still be lost in quiet desperation. Jim will be sorely missed but never forgotten. There are many great leaders, yet for me, there are none who compare with Jim. He and Nancy inspired this piece that I wrote and now offer in honor of Jim. The Humility of Greatness I want the humility of greatness. And therein lays the challenge. How do we seek greatness without seeking glory? I have heard it said that heroes don’t know they are being heroes until after the fact. They are merely doing what they are surprised that no one else will do. Significance is success, and leaving a legacy of beneficence to others is the highest form of living. Yet, when it is done right – without seeking attention, THEN the humility of greatness is fully bloomed. Our worth is shown by our actions and the memory of us is a treasure inherited by those who come after us. What will you do that is worth leaving behind? What will they say at your funeral? Isn’t THAT the concern that can drive us to a life best lived. Yet, not out loud. Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and be a conduit for blessings. Bless others with your blessings and comfort others with your comfort. Do this without seeking fanfare or recognition and you will find that you have achieved the Humility of Greatness. September 7, 2010 I pray God's blessings and peace for the Dornan family, along with the N21 global family. We shall press on to achieve what Jim would want us to. Thank you, Jim, for being the man of Christ that you were. Thank you Nancy and David, for your perseverance and leadership. Psalm 112

God bless you Jim as you blessed so many. Losing you at any time would be hard for those who knew you to accept and understand and will always feel too soon. Neil Diamond said it well and simply in his song "Done too Soon": "(We) have sweated beneath the same sun Looked up in wonder at the same moon And wept when it was all done For bein' done too soon For bein' done too soon For bein' done" Now it's up to all to carry on with just a bit more than we would have had without Jim Dornan........

Now, the reality is slowly sinking in. At this hour, may God extend all his support to Dornan’s family and get us out of these trying times. Jim, You have been a true guiding force for all of us in N21 family. When I first entered Amway almost 40 yrs. ago, I knew there was "something" about this business that drew me in spiritually. When I met Jim Dornan, his presence convinced me that Amway is God's Business. Although there were 2 absences in my membership in this business, I always came back knowing it was the right choice for me. The most recent active membership was because of Network 21's influence and this n21 family some 6rs. ago. Shortly thereafter, one day I realized that I really never had an identifiable hero except God. Since then, if anyone would have asked me, I would have said that Jim and Nancy Dornan were my heroes. My heroes never give up, are real people who are not pretentious, and people who talk to talk of Jesus and then walk that same walk. I am so grateful to have both of them in my life now and beyond. RIP Jim Dornan and know that you have been a miracle producer with God's Work. For Nancy and your wonderful family, grieve for however long you need and know that there are multitudes of people sharing in your grief and praying for your peace. Dear Nancy, Heather, Ashley-Kate, Eric, Abbie, David and Jules , Faith and Ella, and all Team Jim. You and all Network 21 everywhere have been very much in our thoughts and prayers, and we’ve been trying to think what words we could write that would give some sort of comfort. Of course we are pleased that at last Jim is not in pain, although we know he would have suffered anything that was sent him, to be able to be here with you all still. We all prayed so much for a miracle that would heal him and give him a good life with the family and friends he loved so much. Over the past two and half years his and Nancy’s strength and courage have been as powerful a message as any beforehand, for us to dig the well, by helping others. In his life here, with Nancy, he performed many miracles, through his belief in people and God’s will for them. Network 21 has helped to change the lives of people everywhere, and will continue to do so through the legacy Jim has left with us. His message of belief will continue for generations of people who want to make a difference in their lives through the Amway business. Although we are so very grateful to have met Jim and Nancy, and been in this life on earth at the same time, we are even more grateful that the family have taken on the mantle for future generations, and in their turn, leave the same legacy as Jim has. As we are preparing to join by stream, the Memorial Service from Drive this afternoon, the words of a service for a good friend in the business, who had qualified for a cruise the previous year. The minister said of her, “Just as you went to wave her off on that cruise, we are here today to wave goodbye but on the other side of this cruise, she will be greeted by lots of people just waiting in anticipation of her arrival, saying "Here she comes, here she comes.” We know thousands will be welcoming Jim in Heaven, and we are sure that if we follow in his footsteps while we are here, walking in the way Jesus trusts us to, then we will have Jim waiting to greet us when it is our turn to move to the peace and comfort of what scripture tells us is waiting for us all. In Jim’s memory, may we make the difference with what we have been given, just as he wants us. Thank you for sharing Jim’s precious journey with us all, and may God’s love comfort and bless you. Derek and Angela Coldwell..

God sent a messenger to touch our life. Our heart. Our eyes. To change our life. To inspire it. To rearrange it. To reevaluate it. To reconstruct it. On love. On caring and sharing. On vision. On expectancy. On truth and patience. Luke 13:24...he showed us the narrow gate. And the ones who will persevere with learning and devotion in their heart, and faithfulness, and forgiveness, and vision despite the fact thay they "can't see but walk on what they cant" will be rewarded. Jim and Nancy as ONE, always having been guided by ONE, have left for us the true picture and example of fortitude, love, communication, endurance, faith and marriage through obstacles both thick and thin, deep and shallow. May young and older leaders through N21's teachings continue to grow as the mustard seed, and N21 globally established leaders -including the rightful heirs- be spurred on to new heights in His name. Dearest Nancy and Family--I am shedding tears along with you all for the bitter/sweet feelings that you have now--sad in the loss of your dear Jim and glad for his moving to a better place--the place where we all look forward to meeting again. As you move through these foggy days, I am grateful you are all deeply rooted in God and that you will experience the uplift from your "fans" as we are all praying for you. As I followed Jim's Journey, I was not surprised that he, and you Nancy, used the opportunity not to miss a teachable moment---you have so freely shared your wise business knowledge, your incredible sense of humor, your life lessons and your unwavering faith in God--for that I say thank you. Now as you begin a new journey--I call it the "one day at a time" journey through grief, I hope Nancy, that you will pick up the gauntlet and let us continue to be part of this era of your life as the healing begins. May God richly bless you all--May God grant your the peace that comes with being the integral part of a live well lived--Jim Dornan: Leader--Hero--Man of God.

Certainly you were restless when you had your dream, in a positive sense. This was your impulse to a global momentum. You made a step forward, together with your family, when no one else has it gone. You believed in a dream and it came true, when no one else believed in it. Now it is time to say goodbye and let it out of hands. But I'm sure that your family has the power and braveness and will go a step further, if no other makes this step. The Network-Family, you made them part, will support them, as you support us. They will be surrounded by love, hapiness and brightness. It's a better world that you have prepared for your loved ones. Be calm and sleep well.

Ariel and Ambec Driz from Philippines wrote on August 10, 2013 at 2:10 PM:
Jim our Hero By Ariel and Ambec Driz Stadiums filled with humanity All excited...It’s insanity! Then appeared a man so unassuming, His wisdom and knowledge... astounding! Where does he get all these? His insight, countenance and peace? Was it his education in a prestigious institution? For his intelligence surpasses common reason. Yes, he is gifted with academic aptitude But greater was his leadership, vision, passion and attitude! His was a life of constant overcoming, Together with Nancy, a consistent becoming... Through adversity their resolve strengthened, And thus, their skill heightened! He opened his mouth to tell their story, What started their path, to an uncommon glory! An obscure business they started, Took seriously what people took for-granted. Loved-ones couldn't believe their passion. Some even mocked their dedication! When Heather came, their lives re-arranged. Their dream and focus became engaged. To free Nancy from a job, this is the way, To their surprise, it over-delivered day-by-day. Yes it did... But suddenly he too was free, Now, they could be together as a family. Then came Eric, a blessing indeed! A little challenge, that would've made me bleed. Spina Bifida, brain surgeries... it must've been sad, The pain, debt, the prospects looked pretty bad! What do you about this? An impending nightmare replaced their bliss! Yet with people who believed, Their faith in Him was their seed! Make it happen! Was their personal call, God is faithful, through it all! And so the rest was history, Each one inspired by their story! Eric propelled them to build a big business, Little did they know that the process was priceless! What led them to provide for their child, Inspired multitudes, stories now compiled! Overcomers are what they've become... Each one in the world eager to be one! When they were on roll and momentum set in, David came as their lives were changin'... A smart boy, similar to Jim... Yet no one knew what would become of him! That one day he would match the skills to build, The obscure business that made them fulfilled! And when things started to stabilize, They went back to work, so the world can realize... There's a better way, you can be free... They started a process so the world can see! Jim went out of his comfort zone, His efforts again blossomed, who would've known? Network 21 had a vision Changing the world was their mission! Jim at the helm, the task so daunting, Yet like a champion, he came out fighting! He again started the process, Travelled the world like nobody's business! With a handful of committed ones... The multitudes came when all said and done! Yet when he sat down with each one, He built a personal rapport that is second to none! A master dream-builder that's what he is, Yet his embrace is what we will miss. A vision-caster, yes he is, Yet compassion is his bliss! We were privileged to have sat down with him, His wisdom, outlook filled us to the brim! Him and Nancy are such a combination, So different yet together, they can change nations! He's full of knowledge, cool under pressure Nancy's fire and passion are her treasures! When things go bizarre, Count on Jim to be the man of the hour! When I'm on my wits end, Listen to him so perspective can blend! He asked me one day... will you go diamond this year? I had to say yes... and put on my battle gear! I didn't make sense to go for the goal But in commitment, things started to roll! Will I give up, run away and dis-mount? When the dream is strong, facts don't count! In the end, it was a good decision, Jim and Nancy you thank you for the vision. I would do the work twice, thrice, hundred over at a greater pace If it meant I can be near his space. Through sickness and in health his beloved was faithful, In his passing we saw a life truly fruitful! His life is a testament...of courage, love and dedication We are all better because of his mission. And now, I hear the Lord enjoin.. Good faithful servant, share Your Master's Joy!

I remember Jim's lines. 'If you want Happiness for life , help people". "Chase your Dreams" "Keep the main thing the main thing". He exactly did that and lead all of us to lead lives full of purpose with his midas touch. He is in each of us, in our hearts , in our eyes which look at the world with awe, possibility and hope. So Jim cant die, Jim did not. His spirit remains and fuels us. The same spirit puts on us responsibility to hold ourselves and march on.
